Emphasise rural development

For reducing poverty, it is necessary for our government to give emphasis on rural development. It is imperative to drive our attention from urban-centric economy to local or rural -centric economy. For that we should emphasize agro-farming and rural infrastructure. It is necessary to build up these vocational and technical institutions at the local level. During the global meltdown we can import raw materials for rural infrastructure development and these institutions. We know the gloomy face of current world economy is not permanent. It may wash away after some days. Then the domestic and the world economy again will be growing up. It will be good news for our economy, if public private partnership (PPP), an important segment of the national budget, becomes effective. We can also improve the condition of rural infrastructure through this segment.
