Demolition of structures

Q.S. Dhaka
It is good to see that the govt. is evicting the illegal structures on Turag and Shitalakhya rivers. But it is disappointing that some religious installations were spared. The authorities hesitated to demolish those on the ground of "religious sentiments"! Religion is there to correct people, bring them to the right path. How can someone perform prayers in an illegally constructed structure? Be it a mosque or mandir. Regarding mosques, it is for sure falls in the category of violating "Haqq ul ebad". That is violating people's rights, which Allah will not forgive. The mosque authorities themselves should go for the demolition and set some nice examples! No prayers can be accepted in illegally occupied places. The Honourable Imams and the devotees should come forward to correct the wrong doings of some people. The rivers belong to the country, and so to the whole population, not to any group or individual!
