Fire breaks out at slum in Turag

A fire broke out in a slum in Dhaka’s Turag area this evening.

The blaze originated around 6:25pm. Five fire service units are working to bring the fire under control, Rakibul Islam, duty officer of the control room of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence, said.

The cause of the fire and any casualties were not immediately known.
