Ctg flight disruptions continue as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah airports remain closed

Two Middle East-bound departure flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram were cancelled this morning as the airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah remain closed.

In addition, one Middle East-bound departure and one arrival flight operated by US-Bangla Airlines were cancelled, authorities at the airport said in a release.

One Air Arabia flight to the Middle East was also cancelled at the Chattogram airport.

Meanwhile, Salam Air’s flight OV-401 from Muscat landed at the airport at 8:15am today and, after boarding passengers, departed for Muscat again as flight OV-402 at 9:30am.

A total of 25 international flights at the airport have been cancelled as of this morning since February 28, amid the ongoing war situation in the Middle East.
