Launch operations on inland waterways from Dhaka resumed this noon after two days of suspension due to Cyclone Remal.

The launch movement started at 12:00pm after Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) withdrew the warning signal, said a press release of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) undersigned by Public Relations Officer Ehteshamul Parvez today.

The shipping ministry suspended launch services on all routes from 10:00pm Sunday due to the deep depression over the east-central Bay and adjoining west-central Bay, which intensified into Cyclone Remal later.
