It's sheer crime to target and hurt innocent people. Both AL and opposition need to spare innocent lives. Hartal, blockade are democratic rights, but not death and destruction. Hasina did the same -- 173 days of hartal; and this keeps haunting us back again and again. Hasina must immediately relinquish premiership and this is the only option to save everyone, including herself.

Why the destructions? Who mandated Hasina to change the constitution? Then why can this not be re-amended? This is not a Bible or Quran! This one-sided election will not work for her. She has a lot to answer to the people.

They are eminent citizens and we have very little ability to point at their lapses. Yet may we ask them, had the suggestion they gave the president been in consultation with the confronting sides? Were they confident that their suggestion would be agreed upon by them if the president could implement it?
