Export-oriented sectors and tourism have been badly affected for this restive and subversive political programme. The economic growth of the country has slowed down to a disappointing level. Not only that, killing, arson and vandalising properties are also taking place before and during hartal day. So it is our sincere request to the main opposition BNP not to enforce hartal in the name of protest. Instead, they should observe other political programmes to press home their demands.
