Inflated bills of BTCL
Our state-owned land phone company BTCL has found a new way of enhancing their income i.e. through highly inflated bills.
My phone that was practically dead for a month. But I received a bill that showed that I had made close to 2000 calls to “OTHERS”, that is to mobile phones at an exorbitant rate of Tk. 0.80 per minute. This is preposterous.
Besides looking into the cause of these irregular bills, BTCL should introduce a code to block calls to “OTHERS” for those who do not want to pay for such ghost calls.
