Posters pasted on bus causing sight pollution
I was quite saddened seeing a new articulated BRTC bus on the road. I saw the bus on a TV channel few days back and from then I had a desire to see the bus physically for its sheer elegance. I got the opportunity within a few days while I was going towards Farmgate from Shahbag. I was just behind the bus and found it all pasted with different types of posters. Some of the posters were asking for blessing, some were demanding unconditional release of their mentors, some were carrying the faces of aspirants for up- coming mayor elections and some were giving information about cultural programs that ended many days before. I really fought hard to find actual look of the bus. I know it is not new in our city culture. The body of the bus is being used as free mobile display board for a long time. Can our authority concerned do something to stop these sight pollutions?
