Madam, please tell Jamaat and BNP to stop the mayhem. For God's sake, show patriotism at least once in your political life. Please declare immediately that you are not with the Jamaat Razakars. Otherwise, a day may come when you will have to lament for what you did.

It is nice to know that at last Khaleda Zia has condemned the ongoing atrocities on the minority people. But at the same time, it is disappointing that she did not mention the name of Jamaat-Shibir who are allegedly carrying out this carnage across the country. I urge the politicians of all parties to do politics for people, not for votes only.

A concerned citizen
Whoever they are, the government should identify them and give them the strongest punishment according to the law of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony and nobody should be allowed to deny it.

The statement bears more smartness than sincerity. She has deliberately refrained from naming who are attacking the minorities asking the government to investigate. It can be taken for granted that government conducted investigation findings would be in due course termed as false and politically motivated. It's a policy of killing two birds with one stone.
