Simple villagers hold out hope
Someone once told me that what makes Bangladesh so special is the simple poverty-stricken people who live in its rural areas. These are the people who get satisfied and joyous over little things and even smile in the harshest of times. These people are always hopeful that something good is going to come out of all the bloody battles and the disasters that perpetually torment them. If they can do so, why can't we -- being the so-called 'educated' people of the nation -- negotiate for something and work together for the country's development, instead of engaging in violence?
