According to the news reports, after death sentence was awarded to the Jamaat leader Delawar Hossain Saydee in the war crimes trial, the Jamaat-Shibir activists started attacking the Hindu community. But surprisingly, neither the BNP nor the ruling alliance is beside the victim minority people. They are just blaming each other for the communal attacks. Because of the confrontational politics between the ruling alliance and the main opposition, the country is losing its century-old tradition of communal harmony. If the attacks continue in this way, a time will come when we all will have to live in a land which is no better than the hell. So, what we have to do is to stand up to the fanatics to ensure communal harmony.
