India to ban private cryptocurrencies

India's government will introduce a bill to ban private cryptocurrencies and create a framework for a central bank-backed digital money, parliament said in a shock announcement late Tuesday. The proposed bill “seeks to prohibit all private cryptocurrencies in India”, the Lok Sabha said, and comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned last week that Bitcoin presents a risk to younger generations and could “spoil our youths” if it ends up “in the wrong hands”.

Pentagon opens new office to investigate UFOs seriously

The Pentagon is creating a new office to investigate unidentified flying objects amid concerns that after broad probes it cannot explain mysterious sightings near highly sensitive military areas. Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, working with the US director of national intelligence, ordered the new investigatory body to be established in the US Defense Department's intelligence and security office, the Pentagon said late Tuesday.

Facebook will pay content creators so they use its newest features

Recent reports state that Facebook has decided to pay content creators and music artists up to $50,000 to host sessions in the brand new Live Audio Rooms feature. For each session, the respective content creator will be paid from $10,000 to $50,000 and an additional fee for guests of $10,000 or more. In recent weeks, production companies working for Meta have reached out to social media stars with this exclusive offer. According to the contract, each creator has to host four to six sessions, each with a minimum of 30-minute airtime.

Creative IT Institute awards 300 youngsters

Creative IT Institute has organised 'Creative Juniors', a five days IT Awareness Program for school and college-going students. Under this program, more than 3000 students have received training in five subjects (Animation, Python Programming, Graphic Design, Coding, Robotics) in a total of 67 batches. 1000 students have successfully completed the course and received certificates.
