Obama's pledge of $3 billion for GCF

President Barack Obama recently pledged $3 billion for UN's Green Climate Fund (GCF) to help poor countries cope with the effects of climate change which include tasks like helping vulnerable communities with early-warning systems, stronger defenses against storm surges and climate-resilient infrastructure. It is hoped that most vulnerable countries including Bangladesh will be benefited from the GCF programme. We want greater welfare of our dear earth and its inhabitants -- humans, animals and plants.
