Pakistan salvage a win
Pakistan salvaged a win in their last match of Group A in the Women's World Twenty20 when they beat debutants Ireland by 14 runs in an entertaining encounter at the Sylhet Cricket Stadium yesterday.

Ireland, looking for their maiden win, came out with a spirited reply and were in with a shout for long, with skipper Isobel Joyce scoring a brisk 32. But Pakistani bowlers struck at crucial times which made the task harder for Ireland and they eventually folded for 104 in the last over.
