False democracy in country: Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today said a state of false democracy is prevailing in Bangladesh.
"One-party rule appeared in Bangladesh once in 1975. After getting it out the same type of ruling has been activated again,” he said in Thakurgaon.
“In one-word, false democracy is on in Bangladesh," Fakhrul said while talking to the journalists, our local correspondent reports.
“At present there is no politics in Bangladesh. It has gone into the hands of a single party,” he alleged.
"It is very tough to restore democracy fighting against fascism but the change would be brought involving mass people," he said.
