A forceful editorial. This policy could come only from a government that wants to gag not just the media but dissent against it everywhere.

The policy does not provide any clear evidence about the transparency and accountability of Information Ministry as they will implement the policy before formation of the independent commission. Independent commission is a must to amend the policy.
