BUET to hold 12th Inter-faculty Debate Championship 2016

Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology Debating Club (BUETDC) is organising the “12th Inter-faculty Debate Championship 2016” on November 10-11, 2016 in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology campus. The Daily Star will cover the whole event as the Media Partner.

There are five faculties in BUET - Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Architecture & Planning and Faculty of Engineering. Members from any of these faculties will be able to participate in this competition.

The debate will be conducted in both Bangla and English, and in the British Parliamentary format. Around 40+ teams, consisting of 120+ individuals are going to participate. Interested spectators can watch the debates live without any registration. In the previous edition of this event, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was crowned champions and Faculty of Civil Engineering was the runner-up.
