CELEBRATING BOISHAKH WITH THE CELEBS

Every year, the month of April ushers in an immense display of festivities. Wherever you look, the vibrant colours at play tingle your senses to remind you that the Bengali New Year is just around the corner. Boishakh celebrations are a matter of sheer joy for the Bangladeshi community worldwide. Apart from the obligatory singing, processions, fairs and Panta-Ilish, everyone adds their unique touch to the daylong celebrations. Many such events are adorned by the presence of celebrities from different walks of life. Showbiz had the opportunity to attend one such event this year, vibrant with some of the established names from the media.
