I am absolutely delighted to know that I got this award. Since I pursued this career option on my own interest, I had a lot to prove to myself and to the people that believed in me.

This is my third time getting an award for Celebrating Life. While the excitement of getting an award for the first time is not quite there, I am really grateful for this nonetheless at this always provides a huge boost to me and my career.

I have been doing photography simply out of passion and so to win an award for something that I love makes me feel elated. I never really expected to actually be rewarded for my efforts.

The days were dark and fear lurked at the corners of the patriotic Bengali hearts. We are proud to announce that she will be awarded in the upcoming gala night of Celebrating Life 2016 with a lifetime achievement award for her immense contributions.
