Nasir banned from NCL third round for unprofessional behavior

Star Online Report

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has banned all-rounder Nasir Hossain for his unprofessional behavior in the first two matches of the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL).

"He was not serious while bowling in the first match and was rather having fun. In the second game, he used slangs after umpire denied an appeal. For this reason he has been banned for one game." said BCB selector Habibul Bashar.

The third round of NCL, originally scheduled to begin from October 24, started today after the players and the BCB had reached a resolution regarding the cricketers' strike that started last Monday and lasted for three days. However, Nasir, who captained Rangpur Division in the first two matches, is missing their ongoing third match against Rajshahi Division in Cox's Bazar today .
