Radowan shines for BD U-16

Radowan Hossan Siyam's 114-ball 84 helped Bangladesh Under-16 post a 204-run total before being bundled out in 63.5 overs against their Pakistani counterpart on the first day of the three-day match at KRL stadium in Rawalpindi on Friday.

Pakistan Under-16 could manage 40 for four in 19.2 overs before play ended early with 6.4 overs remaining due to bad light.

After being put into bat, Bangladesh Under-16 opener Anik Chaki was dismissed for a duck in the very first over.

However, a 75-run third-wicket stand between Nayeem Ahmed and Radowan helped the side reach a modest total.

Pakistan's Ahmad Khan ended-up with figures of four for 43 runs in 16 overs, while Ali Asfand and Aliyan Mahmood equally shared four wickets between them.

Following the exchange, Bangladesh restricted Pakistan to 40 for four as Ahmood Sharif and Mohammad Musfik Hasan took two wickets apiece.
