Toss delayed due to rain in Chattogram
The toss for the second T20I between Bangladesh and New Zealand at the Bir Shreshtha Flight Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram has been delayed due to rain.
Heavy to moderate showers have persisted since morning in the port city, leaving conditions overcast and the outfield damp.
A full-over match will only be possible if the match starts by 3:10 pm.
Match officials have set 4:50 pm as the cut-off time. If conditions improve, a five-over contest could be staged, with the toss scheduled just before a potential 5:16 pm start.
Despite the wet conditions, the venue’s drainage system remains highly efficient, giving officials hope that play can still be possible once the rain subsides.
