Rubel terms it his finest

Speedster Rubel Hossain might not have got the player-of-the match award yesterday, but to many, he was the chief architect behind Tigers' victory against England, which sealed them a place in the quarterfinals of the World Cup for the first time.

Rubel claimed four wickets for 53 runs and each of his strikes was crucial in the context of the match. Record books would say it was not Rubel's best bowling figures, as he had previously taken 6 wickets for 26 runs against New Zealand in an ODI, but the bowler felt it was his all-time-best performance.

"It was a long-cherished dream for me to give such a match-winning performance in this kind of big tournament.

I had a dream that I would take four to five wickets in a big match like this and my dream is fulfilled," said Rubel in his instant reaction.
