Opener Tamim Iqbal became the second Bangladeshi to score 4,000 runs in one-day internationals. He reached the landmark during the World Cup match against Scotland in Nelson on Thursday.

He crossed the line by flicking a delivery through fine-leg for a boundary on his way to making 95 runs. He reached the milestone in 137 innings. Shakib Al Hasan had also reached the landmark in this World Cup, during the game against Afghanistan.
