Hamza on a sudden trip to Dhaka

Star Sports Report

Hamza Choudhury arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday morning, with a couple of officials from the Bangladesh Football Federation confirming his arrival, although the visit was not related to football.

The midfielder, who plays for Leicester City, just had his season over a few days ago. With Leicester City suffering relegation from the Championship and no immediate fixtures in immediate future, Hamza took the opportunity to travel to Bangladesh for commercial engagements, it has been learnt.

Hamza reportedly attended a promotional event in the capital later on Tuesday evening.

The Bangladesh national team’s next match is scheduled for June 5 in San Marino, with the team set to begin preparations in Bangladesh from May 24.

The midfielder is expected to stay in Bangladesh for two to three days before returning.
