On August 13, Bengal Shilpalay inaugurated ‘The Quiet Within’, a solo exhibition by Bangladeshi cinematographer and artist Rashed Zaman, the contents of which are a mediation between painting and photography.

Bengal Shilpalay recently presented the outcomes of its S M Sultan Art Conservation Project, a research-led initiative dedicated to preserving the works of one of Bangladesh’s most celebrated modern masters.

The festival concludes on Saturday with Mahuya Manjari Sunanda performing Rabindranath Tagore’s lesser-known “Bhanga Gaan”.
