Christopher Nolan hails Satyajit Ray as ‘one of the greatest Indian filmmakers’
Nolan, the Oscar-winning director behind “Inception”, “Interstellar”, “Dunkirk” and “Oppenheimer”, picked up “The Apu Trilogy” while browsing the collection of films in the closet. Speaking about Ray’s work, he singled out “Pather Panchali” (1955), the first instalment of the trilogy, describing it as “an absolutely incredible film” that “just blew my mind”.

Following the massive success of “Oppenheimer”, Nolan is expected to begin filming the new movie in the first half of 2025. For Pattinson, 2025 is shaping up to be a busy year, with Warner Bros planning to film a sequel to “The Batman”, where he’ll reprise his role as the DC superhero.
