Indie Reels, the production company behind Coke Studio Bangla’s “Patar Bashori” music video, has responded to allegations that the shoot caused damage to the historic Bara Sardar Bari at the Sonargaon Museum.

The Sonargaon History, Heritage and Archaeological Resources Conservation Committee has called for an independent investigation into the recent shooting of the song “Patar Bashori” from Coke Studio Bangla Season 4 at the historic Boro Sardar Bari in Sonargaon, Narayanganj, along with an investigation into alleged financial and administrative irregularities at the Bangladesh Folk Arts and Crafts Foundation, popularly known as the Sonargaon Folk Art Museum.

At its heart is the image of a migratory bird—a creature flying away from its cage, carrying the ache of leaving home. “Pinjarake Pushal Moyna uri uri jai re” becomes more than a folk refrain in "Mulluk"; it speaks of a community separated from its ancestral homeland and left to build a life far from where their ancestors came from.

Coke Studio Bangla has launched its fourth season with a tribute to the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, releasing a special opening track ahead of his birth anniversary on May 25.
