Organised by BAT Bangladesh since 2004, Battle of Minds is a nationwide competition that tests young entrepreneurs in various challenges. After two years of being hosted virtually, the grand finale of the competition's 19th iteration took place at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on August 17, 2022.

The winning team this year was Team Drogo, consisting of Syed Shadab Tajwar, Tasmim Sultana Nawmi and Sadid Jubayer Murshed from IBA, University of Dhaka. They excelled over four other teams in the final stage with their unique business solution of producing sanitary napkins with textile waste.

The team called Stranger Teams, consisting of Faiyaz Labib, Nafis Kazi and Shafkat Tanjeem Ahmad from Bangladesh University of Professionals, was named the first runner-up. Team Rock Paper Scissors, consisting of Mashrur Ahmed Zidane, K. M. Tanvir Sifat and Adila Ahmed from North South University, was the second runner-up.

This year's Battle of Minds revolved around three ESG (environmental, social and governance) themed challenges: Circular Economy, Workplace Digitalisation and Blockchain. Participants had to choose one of these three themes to work on to deliver unique business solutions.

Over 1000 teams from 20 different universities from all over Bangladesh took part in the national competition this year, to further compete on the international stage with 26 other participating countries. The global winning team will receive seed funding to kickstart their entrepreneurial ventures.
