School of Influencers (SOI) workshop for aspiring content creators
Hosted by the local talent management platform The Marvel - Be You, a panel discussion called School of Influencers (SOI) was held in The Daily Star Centre on June 11.
Presented by Daraz and powered by Burger King Bangladesh and The Daily Star, the School of Influencers (SOI) workshop was designed to educate content creators and social media influencers on how to build their personal brands.
Out of 300+ applications from all around Bangladesh, the first batch of SOI selected 74 eligible aspiring creators and community leaders for the workshop.
With the panel topic being "The rise and fall of influencer marketing and the game of positive ROI from brands", the sessions addressed Bangladesh's need for a platform where content creators and social media influencers can receive assistance to reach relevant brands and ensure positive ROI.
The panel was moderated by Monsurul Aziz (Head of Corporate Communications, Nagad). Panel members were Shuvasish Bhowmick, Android ToTo Company, Kamrun Nahar Dana, Shihab Hasan Neyon, Rafayat Rakib, Sabira Mehrin Saba, Rad Sharar Bin Kamal (Manager, Affiliate Programs, Daraz), Mushroof Ahmed (GM, Burger King Bangladesh), Morshed Mishu and Shahriar Rahman (Editor Toggle, The Daily Star).
According to The Marvel - Be You, their workshops will be hosted every quarter and from each workshop, the best performers will be given a contract by the organisation.
