Team DU wins regional programming contest of ICPC 2021

The "Not strong enough" team from the University of Dhaka was declared the Champion of the Asia Regional (Dhaka) International Collegiate Programming Competition 2021, the renowned global programming contest.

This was announced on Saturday during the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) in Mirpur's closing ceremony for the ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Contest 2021.

The first runner-up was "Potatoes" from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), and the second runner-up was "Cage DVDI" from Jahangirnagar University.

The tournament this season attracted 640 competitors from 164 university-level programming teams around the nation, according to the organizers.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak, the state minister for information and communication technology, attended the event as the special guest.
