World Conference on Information Technology 2021 begins in Dhaka

The World Congress on Information Technology-2021, WCIT 2021, was inaugurated in Dhaka today on November 11, 2021. President Abdul Hamid inaugurated the conference from a video call. The 25th edition of the International Conference on Information Technology, known as the Olympics of the Information Technology world, started today at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) with the slogan 'ICT the Great Equalizer'.

The conference is jointly organized by the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) at the initiative of The World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA). 

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak presided over the inaugural function. The four-day conference will have a total of 30 seminars, ministerial conferences and bitumen sessions. 

The world's leading IT personalities will take part in the conference through various webinars and sessions.
