The Pen is Mightier than Unemployment

The Pen is Mightier than Unemployment

The Hay Festival came and went and it's put us in a literary mood. English majors get a lot of silly questions and condescension directed at them; our cover story answers some of the more common misconceptions regarding the major. We have in addition a bevy of other literature-related content: five books you can read in under a few hours, the stages of falling out of love with your favourite author, and we also have a discussion on what motivates writers, as had been explained by George Orwell himself.
Furthermore we bring you coverage of Jaago's activities on this Universal Children's Day, an event which has much to teach us about human suffering and empathy. Speaking of empathizing with the unfortunate, we reviewed This War of Mine, a harrowing war story.
And finally, Fable Factory's last prompt, 'Premshikari', received more good submissions than I was comfortable choosing from. Good job, guys.
