Duterte may declare nationwide martial law

Philippine President Duterte may declare nationwide martial law if threatened protests by communists and other leftists against his rule turn violent or disrupt the country. Defence Secretary Delfin Lorenzana however said  the nationwide move might be unlikely but said the president was worried about the protests by the left.
