Sonia Gandhi falls ill, admitted to hospital

India's Congress President Sonia Gandhi's condition is "stable" and she is recovering at the Army's Research and Referral Hospital here after she was admitted there late last night due to high fever and dehydration, said a Congress leader. Sonia Gandhi fell ill at an election campaign event Tuesday in Varanasi. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished her quick recovery on Twitter.
