South Korea chooses site of THAAD missile

South Korea yesterday announced the site where a US THAAD anti-missile defence unit will be deployed against North Korea's missile and nuclear threats, a plan that has angered China and prompted a North Korean warning of retaliation. South Korea and the United States said last Friday they had made a final decision to deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) system in the South.
