Japan teen free after 'two-year kidnap'

A Japanese girl who vanished two years ago has returned home after escaping from the apartment of the university student who had held her captive, police and local media said yesterday. The 15-year-old disappeared in March 2014. Police said she left a note in the mailbox of the family home in Saitama north of Tokyo reading: "Please do not try to look for me."
