Elderly nun gang-raped in West Bengal

A group of miscreants allegedly gang-raped a nun at a convent school in Ranaghat, in West Bengal's Nadia district, police said yesterday. According to the district police, the incident occurred inside a school Convent of Jesus and Mary in the early hours of yesterday. About a dozen dacoits forced themselves inside the institution and gang- raped the elderly nun when she tried to resist them.  The incident evoked strong reactions across the State.
