Kejriwal detained after Rahul’s release
Indian National Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was detained for the second time today after he met the family of an ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal, who allegedly committed suicide over the delay in implementation of the OROP scheme.
Gandhi, however, was released later, reports local media.
Meanwhile, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was detained tonight after he was stopped from meeting Grewal's family members.
Arvind Kejriwal tweeted this evening that he had also been "formally detained" as he was driving to the police station where the former serviceman's relatives had been kept, allegedly for hours, reports NDTV.

The death of Subedar Ram Kishen Grewal, 65, who drank poison at a government building on Tuesday has corralled opposition leaders into attacking the government for failing to implement the One-Rank-One-Pension (OROP) scheme.
The OROP program is to ensure equalize pensions for all servicemen who served at the same rank and for the same amount of time. The government approved of the new policy last year, but it has yet to be correctly implemented, say army officers.
Subedar Ram Kishen Grewal allegedly poisoned himself on the lawns of a government building in the heart of Delhi on Tuesday afternoon. In a suicide note he said he had still not received the increased pension promised to him by the government under the OROP scheme it implemented last year.
His family wants the government to fulfill the demands that Grewal had made in a petition that he planned to hand over to Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar later on yesterday.
Sources in Parrikar's office said they had received no request from the Army veteran for an appointment with the minister.
"Saddened by the death of Subdr. Ram Kishan Grewal. I express my heartfelt condolences. I have asked for officials to provide me details." Parrikar said.
One Rank One Pension, a long-standing demand of ex-servicemen, grants retired armed forces personnel pension parity with officers and jawans of the same rank who are retiring now.
