Separation of judiciary demanded
Members of the Rajshahi University Association of Law Finders (RUALF) recently brought out a procession on the campus demanding separation of judiciary from the executive.
RUALF president Shafiul Alam and general secretary Shariful Haque led the procession.
Earlier, they organised a tree plantation programme in front of the Law and Justice Department.
Law Faculty Dean A F M Mohsin inaugurated the programme. Law and Justice Department chairman Prof Dr Begum Asma Siddika, Professor A B Siddik, Professor M Rabiul Hossain, Pref Abdul Hassan, Prof Anisur Rahman and Prof Hasibul Alam Prodhan participated in the tree plantation programme.
