Sk Razzak Ali may join BNP politics on return

Ali has decided to quit his ambassadorial job after failing to get the status of a full cabinet minister, his family sources in Khulna said.

However, the former Speaker's recent remarks about BNP politics, the Speaker's role in handling the recent CPA conference and performance of the finance minister annoyed the party high command, other sources said. Razzak Ali made the comments in an interview with the daily Jugantor.

He might stay away from politics unless he is given a suitable position in the government, sources said.
