7 bombs recovered from Khulna primary school
Khalishpur thana police recovered seven powerful hand bombs from two class rooms at Alamnagar Primary School in the city during school hours yesterday morning.
The school is run by the Khulna City Corporation (KCC).
According to police, thee bombs were found at Class 11 and four at Class 1V.
Students saw the hitherto unseen objects on floors and informed teachers. On information, police came and took the bombs.
The bombs, if exploded, could claim so many lives, police said.
The school has been declared closed sine die.
Police said they are investigating the matter.
