101-member Netrakona district BNP body formed
A 101- member new committee of the Netrakona district unit of BNP was formed with MA Karim Abbasi MP, as president and Advocate Mahafuzul Haque as secretary.
The committee was formed through an election held at the second convention of the district BNP at Mohua auditorium in the town on Thursday.
Nazrul Islam Khan was elected the new organising secretary.
Dr Mohammad Ali MP, convenor of Netrakona district BNP presided over the convention.
Selina Rahaman, State Minister for Cultural Affairs inaugurated the convention. Ashraf Hussain, whip of the Jatiya Sangsad was present as chief guest, Lulfuzzaman Babor, State Minister for Home Affairs was present as special guest.
Among others, MA Karim Abbasi MP, Begum Khadija Amin MP, Begum Rabaya Ali, member of the central committee of BNP and former MP, Abu Abbas spoke.
