Kidnapped contractors released at Khagrachhari

Batayan Dewan and Rapruchai Marma, both contractors, were kidnapped by miscreants from Khabongpuja area in the town when they were returning home at about 10 pm.

The family sources said the kidnappers had demanded Tk 3 lakh ransom but declined to identify the kidnappers and to say whether any payment was made for their release.
