Truck loaded with cloth hijacked in Sirajganj

They chopped and injured the truck's driver, Iqbal,35, and 10 day labourers.

Police sources said a gang of bandits wearing pant and shirt barricaded the road. The Baburhat-bound truck was coming from Enayetpur industrial area. The robbers fled away with the truck from the area.

Local people rescued the injured driver and workers and admitted them to Sirajganj General Hospital where condition of the truck driver was stated to be critical.

A case was lodged with Sirajganj Sadar police station.
