Hindu housewife gangraped

The incident came to light on Thursday when the rape victim's family alleged that the miscreants were moving freely in the area and threatening them to withdraw the case.

In the case filed with Motihar thana on October 19, the victim's husband Dhirendra Chandra Das alleged that the miscreants kidnapped his wife at dagger-point from their house on the night of October 16 while he was at work at Rajshahi Jute Mill.

They gangraped and left her in a bush near their house in an unconscious state.

The accused persons in the case are Kamruzzaman, Masud and Abu Bakkar of the same area.

When contacted, Motihar police denied the allegation that the accused were moving freely. We are trying to nab the miscreants, police said.
