4 RU JCD leaders hurt in clash
Four Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leaders were injured when rival factions clashed and blasted cocktails over distribution of ifter at Bangabandhu Hall at Rajshahi University Monday evening.
The injured are RU JCD Joint Organising Secretary Masudur Rahman Rana, Education and Publication Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman and members Kabir Hossain and Ripon member.
The rooms of the hall provost and the JCD leader Mahfuz were also ransacked during the clashes and chase and counter-chase that continued several hours.
The iftar mahfil was organised on the occasion of the National Revolution and Solidarity Day, police said.
