Moulvibazar tops Zakat Fund contributors

This was disclosed at a meeting held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Moulvibazar recently.

Presided over by Motiur Rahman, Additional District Magistrate, Moulvibazar, the meeting was attended, among others, by Md Mukhlesur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner, Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation and Abdul Mannan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Kulaura upazila.

Moulvibazar district had contributed Tk One lakh and 15,000 to the Zakat Fund last year, this was informed at the meeting.

This year the target was fixed at Tk 2 lakh.
