'Give loans to charland farmers'

Twenty-three branch managers from different areas of Gaibandha district took part in the conference. Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank Chairman Ruhul Kabir Rezvi and its Managing Director Dr Mujibur Rahman Khan were present as chief guest and special guest. The conference was presided over by Regional Manager Altaf Hossain.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman ordered branch managers to give special attention to monga-stricken areas while giving loan to farmers in the ensuring Rabi season.

He also suggested disbursement of agriculture credit to farmers in Char lands after conducting a survey.
